Function of Department
The
Purchasing Department is responsible for making purchases of all
property, equipment and supplies for all city entities; disposal,
when applicable, of all salvage/excess property and equipment and
processes bids for equipment/property purchases when required. We
also serve as a laison between the city and vendors as it pertains
to purchasing.
General Information
All
requests for bid documents must be called in and to be listed as city
vendor. Local vendors that are inside police jurisdiction receive
3% local bid status. |
