On March 4th, 2010 the Alexander City Police Department added another officer to the force. Henry Foshee of Alexander City Al. and Michael Foy of Auburn Al. Both started their first day with the Alexander City Police Department assigned to the patrol division. Henry Foshee and Michael Foy will go through several weeks of the FTO program and upon competition they will be assigned to patrol duties. Henry Foshee and Michael Foy will attend the Northeast Alabama Law Enforcement Academy in September of 2010.
On July 2nd 2010 Alexander City Police Department added another Corrections officer to the jail. Jeffery Reeves of Alexander City Al. will start his training with the department on July 15th, 2010 and will be assigned to the night shift in the jail.
