Function of Department
The Fleet Maintenance Department maintains the city’s vehicles, equipment, and small-motor tools. It is the goal of the Fleet Maintenance Department to minimize downtime of vehicles and equipment by performing preventive maintenance. Also, it is the department’s goal to effectively manage the fleet as a whole by collecting and maintaining information essential to good maintenance, purchasing, and salvage policies/procedures in an effort to maximize the city’s investment. The Department provides welding services and other mechanic-based services to all city departments. |
