Mission Statement
The City Engineer is responsible for designing and/or overseeing construction of projects funded by the city council. A couple of examples of recent projects include the walking track at Radney School and the parking lot at the Senior Center. The City Engineer also reviews plans for new subdivisions and new commercial developments. Additionally, the city engineer oversees inspection of bridges, rating and resurfacing streets, traffic studies, right-of-way permitting and developing ordinances. |
