INSTRUCTIONS ON PAYING TRAFFIC CITATIONS
NO PAYMENTS BY PHONE ACCEPTED | NO CONTINUANCES WILL BE GRANTED ON YOUR COURT DATE
A Traffic citation has been issued to you to appear before the Municipal
Court of Alexander City, Alabama. If you desire a court hearing (to
plead not guilty) you should appear at 1:00 pm on the date specified on the citation at the Courthouse in Alexander City, Alabama. You may
settle your case without coming to court if the violation is one listed
below. To plead guilty, you can simply find the violation listed below
and send the amount payable to the City of Alexander City at the following

may come by the office to pay a fine between the hours of 9 am and 5
pm Monday through Friday. When paying a fine before court it must be
paid by 5 pm on the day before court or you will need to be in court
on the next day. If the violation is not listed below, a court appearance
is required on the date specified. Please pay with a Cashier's Check
or Money Order. If you need a receipt, please send a self-addressed
stamped envelope with your payment.
